Flew Friday. Awesome day. Flew Piper Arrow 28R from 1A0 (Dallas Bay) to KVLL (Oakland/Troy) in Michigan. Of course I couldn't land there due to unsafe gear light, but that was another (uneventful) story. Of course I did get to buzz the tower (legally) so the controller could check my gear, which turned out to be ok.
I flew myself and 2 colleagues (who had never flown before in a small plane) to do a buy-off of a part we needed for work. We took off at 3:30 AM, arrived at 8:00 AM (even after the gear issue). Stopped for breakfast, went to the buy-off, had lunch, and then flew home. How much cooler does having one's pilot's license get?
Started a new countdown for vacation. I believe I need it more this year than ever. The new job is awesome, but it is stressful. The beach always scrubs away my stress.

- I love being a husband and dad. My family is everything to me. I have five kids: four sons (13,12,6,and 4) and a daughter (8). I enjoy flying (I hold a private pilot's license), music (I play the trumpet), and computers(it's how I feed my family). I used to be very active in my church, but not so much anymore. I love to laugh and to make other people laugh. It truly is the best medicine.
